SHAFTESBURY STREET PARK

Public BBQ

Shaftesbury Street Park proves that the best discoveries often come without fanfare. This unassuming green space manages to be three things at once: a haven for families with energetic children, a social hub for dog owners, and a surprisingly well-thought-out recreational facility. The playground equipment shows genuine consideration for young visitors, while a charming little bike track provides endless entertainment for budding cyclists. What struck me most was the easy camaraderie among the dog-walking crowd – that peculiar Australian ability to strike up conversations over friendly pooches.
